How to Find Your Power
March 12th, 2018
The most powerful reaction to a toxic person is a non-reaction. We must find the self-control to withhold the reactions in us they are trying to provoke. If we want to feel powerful, we must ignore them. If we want to feel powerful, we must delete them. If we want to find our power, we must be silent with them. If we want to find our inner strength, we must move on from them. If we want to find our happiness, we must come to feel happier without them. If we want to feel valued, we must find the people who will love us in all they ways they failed to. That is power. This is what life is all about, finding ourselves and the will we have within to walk freely away from the people who have hurt us again and again. We get to leave them in our dust and witness them watching us rise.
