Never Settle for Less
March 26th, 2018
We need supportive people in our lives who are there for us when we need them. We deserve to have people who have our back, who are there to help, and who love us with all of their heart. When we settle for less than this, our lives are miserable. Once we settle for less, it is hard to get out of it and we start losing touch with the people in our lives who support us because they see us unable to support ourselves and we wear them out. We have to get back to the reality of what we deserve. We have to accept that toxic people in our lives aren’t fixable, no matter how much we want them to be. We either ruin our lives by staying with them or we will choose to change our lives by leaving them. When we change our lives we gain our self-respect back. Each day that we do not allow a toxic person’s poison to impact us, is a day of happiness. We have to think about our life and the short amount of time we ultimately have to live and be happy. If we settle for less, we will get less. If we choose to change our life and get off the toxic roller coaster, life opens up. We have to change our own patterns by becoming aware of who these people are and coming to accept that they won’t change. Hope is dope if it is used for denial.
