A Life Without Boundaries Is an Unsafe Life
April 2nd, 2018
When we don’t set any boundaries, we lose the joy that life has to offer. We cannot live a life with zero boundaries and then complain about being unhappy. We need personal boundaries and we need to keep other people apprised to what they are. If someone still treats us poorly after knowing what our limits are, they are toxic and we need to get away from these relationships. We must embrace what our personal rights are and start living them. Never allow yourself to live under anyone. We know in our gut when someone is giving us full measure and we know when we’re being given very little. We have to trust our gut instincts, speak up and let it be known where we stand, what our expectations are and what we will and will not tolerate. If we don’t take care of ourselves, neither will anyone else.
